Thursday, Sept. 21, 6:00pm: Virtual Happy Hour to Discuss Books. We'll be discussing two books at the September meeting - After Death, by Dean Koontz, suggested by Kelton Joyner, is a post-Doomsday thriller in which the protagonist must stop a vicious assassin; and Whalefall, by Daniel Kraus, suggested by Elissa Rudolph (who had read part of it); its hero, while diving in the Pacific, is seized by a giant squid, and then both are swallowed by a whale, while said hero has only one hour's worth of oxygen left before his tank is empty.
