Sunday, November 1 at 5:30pm: First Sunday Dinner–Farmer's Table (561-417-5836; http://www.farmerstableboca.com/ ), 1901 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton. A sprawling eatery tucked into the back of the Wyndham Hotel, these healthy food creations are served in chlorophyll-powered colors. Some "did you know items" from the website: Everything is made in house; No cream or butter is used; They serve only Laughing Bird shrimp, raised in inland ponds on the coast of Belize (isn't there something contradictory about inland ponds on the coast??), where the shrimp swim in filtered water and feed on a vegetarian diet...see website for more. Craft beers also and cocktails. Caveat! The servers will only do 4 checks for a large table. So bring cash. RSVP by noon October 31 to elissa12@bellsouth.net OR through the Palm Beach Mensa's MeetUp site. Once reservations are made, seats go to those who RSVP'ed FIRST.

Friday, November 6 at 7pm: First Friday Dinner, at Orchids of Siam or Payathai or someplace... maybe Thai, maybe something else... after years of stability it's started moving around again, and nobody's bothered to tell the editor what the latest location is, not that this would matter since they've been tending to change it again at the last minute anyway. Your best bet is to RSVP (That means to say in advance you're coming, or there might not be a seat for you!) to Barry at 561-964-4360,  or you can try the Meetup, though it doesn't always catch last-minute updates.

Friday, November 6 at 8pm: Let's go see a play at Willow Theatre, 300 S. Military Trail, Boca Raton. We're getting together for Scenes from a Chinese Restaurant by Tom Andrew. See more information in newsletter.

Tuesday, November 10 at 6pm: Pasta Dinner at Maison Carlos, 3010 S. Dixie Hwy., West Palm Beach. Special for the pre-season - $10.00 for all pasta dishes at this award-winning restaurant, just south of Belvedere on Dixie Highway. (See Meetup)

Saturday, November 14 at 11am: ExComm meeting at Panera restaurant,771 Village Boulevard, WPB. See more information in newsletter.

Tuesday, November 17 at noon: Lunch Bunch at Rice Fine Thai and Asian Fusion, 1610 S. Federal Hwy., Boynton Beach. I'd call it Pan-Asian, not just Asian Fusion - a wide array of choices in a large, light, open dining room. Lots of parking in the shopping center on the southeast corner of Woolbright and Federal Highway; Rice is on the Woolbright side, just before the bridge to the Island. (See Meetup)

Monday, November 23 at 6pm: Movable Feast II at Hurricane Alley, 529 E. Ocean Ave.., Boynton Beach. Fish and shellfish specialties, including seared tuna and seafood bisque, but steaks, chicken, and sandwiches as well. They also have half-price drinks and appetizers for Happy Hour if you arrive a little early to sit at the bar.  (See Meetup)
