Thursday, Nov. 4, 3:30pm: Cultural Council: "The Spirit of Peru" at Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, 601 Lake Ave, Lake Worth. The gallery in downtown Lake Worth is featuring the work of Valerie Collins Stanescu (through 11/06). The Peruvian-born artist's paintings detail the lives, struggles, and beauty of her home country. Other exhibits will also be on view until the gallery closes at 5:00, which can provide a segue to a Happy Hour in the neighborhood, possibly Lilo's or The Library Speakeasy. Sunday, Nov. 14, 6:00pm: Second Sunday Dinner at Bonefish Grill, 1880 N. Known for its seafood specialties, this restaurant also offers various types of fish wood grilled to your liking along with their signature sauces. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 5:30pm: Dinner in Palm Beach Gardens at Prosecco Cafe, 4580 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens. This casual bistro in PGA Commons prides itself on making and baking everything "from scratch" - fresh ingredients, artfully prepared. Small plates include short rib quesadilla and goat cheese croquette; salads such as chopped quinoa and Greek chicken salad, as well as entrees like pistachio-crusted cod and NY strip steak. Sunday, Nov. 28, 12:30pm: Non-Holiday Lunch at This Is It Cafe, 444 24th St, West Palm Beach. If you haven't had enough to do on this holiday weekend, we could have lunch - maybe at This Is It in Northwood, if it's open.
