Palm Beach County Mensa Meetup Group

Mensa events are open to all Mensans, their spouses, children and guests. Who may or may not attend a private home is at the host's discretion. Hosts: Please mention any special concerns about your location, such as smoking restrictions, limited access for the handicapped, or presence of pets. Guests: If you have any special needs or restrictions, please check with your host before attending an event.

Palm Beach Area Mensa Events

	Sunday, April 5 at 5:30pm First Sunday Dinner. Old Key Lime House, 300 E Ocean Ave., Lantana, 561-582-1889, oldkeylimehouse.com. We've been here before, but Florida's oldest waterfront restaurant is definitely worth another visit. Their invitation: "Come to the Old Key Lime House restaurant today and experience the largest TIKI bar in South Florida and the largest gator viewing site. You will find locally caught seafood on the menu along with our award-winning key lime pie and the best sunset views around!" I couldn't say it better myself. RSVP by noon April 4 to elissa12@bellsouth.net OR through the Palm Beach Mensa's MeetUp site. Once reservations are made, seats go to those who RSVP'ed FIRST.
	Sunday, April 12 at 5pm: North County Dinner: Let's Eat at Charlie's at Charlie's Bar and Grill, 400 SE Parrot Circle, (located between Salerno Rd and Pomeroy St), Stuart, FL 34997
	Friday, April 10 at 7pm First Friday Dinner (2nd Friday this month) at Orchids of Siam Thai-Sushi Bar 3027 Forest Hill Boulevard West Palm Beach. In the Winn-Dixie Shopping Center at the NW corner of Forest Hill & Congress. http://www.orchidsofsiamfl.com/ This restaurant offers excellent Thai/Japanese food. Thai food can be spicy. 	Tuesday, April 14 at 6pm: Magnificent Mensa Scribes. IHOP on north side of Belvedere just west of I-95. The Magnificent Mensa Scribes meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays each month at 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Ihop, 1503 Belvedere Road, West Palm Beach. Prudy Taylor Board trenchantly discusses some practical phase of the writing business plus works-in-progress -- your works-in-progress will be read aloud and critiqued. Enquiries: Tim Hunter (cell: 561-352-4336); RSVP Meetup.
	Sunday, April 24, 4pm: CultureQuest. Our team participates in CultureQuest, Mensa's annual nontrivial competition. Meanwhile, the regular Trivia events are on hopefully-brief hiatus while a new location is found.
