Sunday, January 4 at 5:30pm First Sunday Dinner. Villa Rosano, 9858 Clint Moore Rd. #118 (near 441), Boca Raton.The owner wanted to recreate the experience of visiting a small village in Italy, and Villa Rosano is the result. (561-470-0112; http://www.villarosano.com/). "Fine Italian food paired perfectly with the best selection of wine from the vineyards of California, Australia, Italy, and good company." Some items from the dinner menu: Prosciutto DiParma and figs in a balsamic glaze; Ravello Chicken Salad, Spaghetti with Sunday (how appropriate!) sauce. Friday, January 9 at 7pm First Friday Dinner (2nd Friday this month) at Orchids of Siam Thai-Sushi Bar 3027 Forest Hill Boulevard West Palm Beach. In the Winn-Dixie Shopping Center at the NW corner of Forest Hill & Congress. http://www.orchidsofsiamfl.com/ This restaurant offers excellent Thai/Japanese food. Thai food can be spicy.
