Sunday, October 7, 5:30 pm: Palm Beach Area Monthly Dinner at Deck 84, 840 East Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach. Join us at 840 East Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, for an early dinner along the Intracoastal. Watch the bridge over Atlantic Ave rise to accommodate the pleasure craft. Before dinner, walk the Avenue, check out the small shops west of our destination or walk a short way east to the Atlantic Ocean. Saturday, November 3, 6:30 pm. Dinner and A Play at  Lake Worth Playhouse. Brian Reeves, our resident thespian, is participating in a staged reading of a play called Joseph Andrews. It is an adaptation of the Henry Fielding novel of the same name. Fielding wrote “Joseph Andrews” as a satire of novels of the era where young maidens were constantly defending their virtue from advances by various men. Joseph Andrews is a footman who is constantly defending his virtue from the ad-vances of women. Most of the actors play several parts. In an amusing case of art imitating life, Brian plays three parts, including a judge and an attorney. We’ll meet for dinner at 6:30PM at Rotelli’s restaurant, 701 Lake Avenue in Lake Worth , then walk two doors up the street to the Playhouse where you can buy your own ticket ($15) to the play. Saturday, November 10, 10 am - 6 pm. Lake Park Seafood Festival. The town of Lake Park is sponsoring an all-day family event with music, fun, vendors, and lots and lots of food. Palm Beach Area Mensa has taken a booth at this event in an effort to meet and recruit new members of Mensa. We need volunteers to sit at our table and greet visitors.
