Tuesday, December 13, Noon: Downtown Lunch Bunch at Gratify American Gastropub 1 25 Datura Street, WPB; 833-5700. We lost out on the last lunch scheduled for Gratify because they weren't serving lunch in summer, so we're revisiting now. Great bistro-type food near the water. Street parking with meters or a four-block walk from the Banyan garage. |

Monday, December 19, 5:30 pm: Night Out for Mensa Cougars and Others at Café Centro 2409 N. Dixie Hwy., WPB; 514-4070. One of the new places that has sprung up in Northwood, an interesting revitalized neighborhood a little north of down-town West Palm. Happy Hour consists of half off everything – drinks and seriously delicious appetizers. Street parking is usually easy to find. RSVP to Amy Shaughnessy at 561-964-3283 or on MeetUp. |

Wednesday, December 28, 7:00 pm: Moveable Feast at Pangea Bistro, 10140 Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington; 793-9394. Named for Earth’s land mass before the continents separated, the bistro’s cuisine reunites the continents with a Hawai-ian influence. It's in the Mall at Wellington Green, sort of the southeast corner (go left from the Mall's main entrance at Forest Hill, and wind around a couple of curves); easy parking. RSVP to Amy Shaughnessy at 561-964-3283 or on MeetUp. |
