Documentary Film at Florida Atlantic University's Wimberly Library Media Center, in Boca Raton. Title is "The Lost Wooden Synagogues of Eastern Europe," the detailed story of the construction, desecration, and rediscovery of these synagogues, which once numbered over 1,000. Sundays, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 at 2:30PM; Tuesdays, April 4, 11, 18, 25 at noon and 7PM; and Thursdays, April 6, 13, 20 at noon and 7PM. Free of charge, no particular seating arrangement. The film's score was composed by an FAU music professor. There is no host for this event, so if you'd like to meet with other members, make sure you wear yellow (tie, scarf, etc.) to identify yourself.

Monday, 3rd - Snowbird Day. On this date, according to local legend, the Snowbird drives north on I-95. If s/he gets caught in a traffic jam, we'll have six more weeks of snowbirds.
