December 1999

Agenda

No agenda was prepared for this meeting.

Minutes - Held Friday, December 10th

The meeting began at approximately 7:20 PM and was held at Pronti's Italian Restaurant off of Northlake Boulevard in North Palm Beach. Attending were LocSec Barry Karas, Editor Glen Moulder, Assistant LocSec Joel Martin McTague, South County Coordinator Elissa Rudolph, North County Coordinator Bill Whitesell, Proctor Perry Wurst and member Bob Dolson.

No previous business was discussed since there were no outstanding items for review.

New business items discussed were:

1. Glen motioned and it was seconded that the group purchase a laser printer for the group's use in creating newsletters, local brochures, flyers and advertisements, letters to the membership and other group correspondence. The laser printer will be assigned to the Newsletter Editor and will be returned to the group for reassignment when the current Editor's term is over. The vote was all in favor.

2. Joel discussed the possibility of the group mentoring students who are members of the robotics club at Suncoast High School. He stated that he would investigate this further and report to us at the next meeting.

3. The group decided that Glen will periodically send lists of members to the North and South County Coordinators from the American Mensa, Ltd. End-Of-Month (EOM) diskette that he receives in the second week of each month.

The meeting last about 2 hours, held over dinner, and the LocSec passed out small gifts to board members in honor of the holiday season.
