Mensa events are open to all Mensans, their spouses, children and guests. Who may or may not attend a private home is at the host's discretion. Hosts: Please mention any special concerns about your location, such as smoking restrictions, limited access for the handicapped, or presence of pets. Guests: If you have any special needs or restrictions, please check with your host before attending an event.

Notice! Our group has merged its calendar with the one from the Broward group and some events from Miami. The icon in the rightmost column of the event indicates what group(s) are hosting that activity (B for Broward, M for Miami, P for Palm Beach County). See the legends at the bottom of this page for an explanation of other icons that may appear in this column. Most phone numbers for Broward events will be area code 954, for Miami, 305.

	Saturday, December 4. WHAT YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT REAL ESTATE BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK. First-time hosts Ted and Kristie Long are pleased to present guest speaker Jeanne Wood, who will be giving a presentation on a subject she knows plenty about- real estate in South Florida. 	Sunday, December 5. OUTDOORS: Hike either Section 1 going south or Section 2 going north of the Big Cypress Preserve on Alligator Alley. Tom Fierros will lead the hike, and he is adventurous and exploratory. This will be another enjoyable hike thru the Pristine Florida Scenic Trail. Total distance will probably be 8-10 miles. 	Wednesday, December 8, 8:00 pm. DISCUSSION SIG at the home of Roy Fischler. Discuss politics, science, art, etc., in depth. Topics to be decided at each meeting. Snacks and drinks provided. RSVP to 954-578-8273. Pets, no smoking.

	Friday-Sunday, December 10-12. OUTDOORS: Friday Night, Saturday and Sunday, December 10th thru 12th. Car Camp at Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Jupiter. Saturday night dinner is supplied by OAK. You bring your own breakfasts, lunches. You can arrive Friday night or Saturday. If you need one, you can borrow a tent, mattress, cooler. Cost Members $30.00, Non-Members $38.00 per person.
